About the Program

Getting Out of Our Own Way is a transformational program designed to help individuals break through internal barriers, build self-belief, and unlock their full potential. True confidence isn’t just about how we communicate—it’s about how we see ourselves, how we navigate challenges, and how we take ownership of our success. At Bulmer Group International, we’ve spent over 35 years coaching professionals on how to present with confidence. But what we discovered is that skill alone isn’t the key to success—self-belief is. Many people, regardless of their experience or expertise, hold themselves back due to doubt, past experiences, or external pressures. This program is designed to change that. The truth is, if we don’t feel entitled to be in a particular situation or environment, it’s difficult for others to fully see our capability, and it’s also likely we won’t immediately, if ever, perform at our true capability. That said, this program totally acknowledges that external factors DO exist and can offer up very significant challenges. As they say, everyone has their story. This program aims to help us step back from any external forces, real or otherwise, and help us be able to more accurately contextualise our abilities, our desires, our goals, and to be able to remove or at the very least minimise unnecessary barriers that we might have imposed ourselves. We must get out of our own way before we expect others to get out of the way. Equally, we must fully support ourselves before it’s fair to expect others to offer their support. Think of 'Self-Belief' as the turbocharger to everything else in your life. Experience, background, personality type, education—all can be enhanced with authentic, meaningful self-regard and belief. We owe it to ourselves to ensure our turbocharger is fully charged.
